Generally Accepted Goods

  1. All furniture must be in usable conditions and not require any repairs. Drivers cannot accept items with broken or missing legs or drawers or other similar damage to the furniture that will make it impossible to utilize the items without making repairs.

  2. In connection with upholstered furniture, drivers are not permitted to accept any articles that are ripped or torn or badly stained or faded.


  3. We do not accept the following items if they have been used:
    • Appliances
    • Baby toys
    • Mattresses
    • Cribs
    • High Chairs
    • Walkers
    • Medical Aids including ( beds, walkers, canes, etc.)

 

The Society depends on donated goods to enable us to serve the needy.  The recipients of such donations cannot afford to pay for the repairs of any articles, and the Society does not have the amenities to repair them either.  Therefore, we must reserve the right to refuse any articles, which do not meet our standards.

We sincerely appreciate your kind offer to donate to the Society, and we trust that you will understand the reasons why we can’t accept certain items. In the event you require additional clarification on what items are acceptable, please contact the store directly.
