Society of St. Vincent de Paul
- Become a Donor
You can support the work of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul with a check or credit card donation. Gifts of cash are tax-deductible, and the simplest, most common way of contributing. An individual can become a Monthly Donor, contributing to the Society monthly to provide ongoing support for families who are in need.
- Planned Gift
Remember the Society of St. Vincent de Paul through a bequest in your will, through a life income gift, or with a gift of real estate or securities. One of the best ways to save on federal estate taxes is to provide for a charitable bequest in your will.
- Matching Gift Program
If your employer offers a matching gift program, you can double or triple the value of your contribution to the Society of St. Vincent de Paull. Simply complete and submit your company's matching gift form with your donation.
- Campaign Donations
Donate to the United Way Campaign and designate the Society of St. Vincent de Paul as the specific agency you would like to contribute to. If you are a federal employee, donate to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul through the LI Federated Campaign payroll deduction.
- Commemorative Cards
A variety of cards are available, (Memorial, In Honor Of, Birthday, Birth & Anniversary). Honor an occasion you would like recognized and give it true "meaning" by sending a card.
- Clothing / Furniture / Card Donations
Our Thrift Stores depend on the donation of gently used clothing, furniture, and decorative household items. Donations can be made directly to our Thrift Stores or through our familiar green clothing bins which are located at a number of supermarkets and parishes around Long Island. Furniture can be picked up at no cost to the donor. To arrange for a furniture pick-up, please call (516) 746-8250 (Nassau) or 1 (800) 884-7837 (Suffolk). To donate a car, boat or motorcycle, please call (631) 698-0284.
